ICH Update

Dear Academic Union Member,

The Academic Union under the umbrella group Faculty Duties Committee, has been working with the college to develop a new set of ICH guidelines as per the Memorandum of Understanding in our recently signed agreement. After numerous meetings in the Spring and early Summer, no agreement was reached.

In the coming weeks, we will be asking faculty members to watch their personal e-mail for a survey, in an effort to gather input and data from faculty regarding this issue.

The NSCCAU would like to take this opportunity to inform faculty members that the current Instructional Contact Hour Guidelines and appendices are on the college website via “Connect”.

We encourage members to continue to reference this information when determining contact hours of work.
