COVID-19 Update

Dear Members,

Please know your health and safety is our priority. The NSCCAU is in daily contact with College leadership advocating for our members. We are ensuring measures are in place to protect the health and safety of our communities and share in the collective need to staid the flow of the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you have not yet registered your contact information with our office, we ask that you send us your personal email address, name and campus to nsccaucoordinator@gmail.com so you may receive timely updates from your NSSCAU Executive. For future reference and privacy concerns, we will not be commenting on issue-based items via Facebook. We support the current and ongoing efforts of our employer, government and public health officials to contribute to “flattening the curve” of COVID-19 therefore reducing the risk of our vulnerable community members, many of whom include our family, friends, co-workers and neighbours.

We can and will get through this crisis if we work together and stay calm. We need to rely on one another in times like these, and the NSCCAU will be here advocating for you along the way.

On behalf of our members, we send a sincere and heartfelt thank you to the frontline workers who are serving the public across all sectors during this most challenging time.

We will continue to assess this situation and its impact and will pass along any new developments as they arise which may affect Members.
