Re: Notice of 2020-21 Academic Year Campus Representative Elections

It is time for Campus Representative elections for the upcoming Academic Year. Notice as to available seats at each campus will be circulated at a campus-level by your current Campus Representatives.

Anyone interested in serving as a Campus Representative should email their interest to myself at nsccaurmm@gmail.com by Friday May 22 at which time nominations will close. Please use the following suggested subject line: (LAST NAME, FIRST NAME, CAMPUS, Campus Representative Nomination). Duties of Campus Representatives are found in the AU bylaws, which can be found in Article 6 here. Ordinarily, these elections would be held onsite and facilitated by an on-site election officer, but due to the ongoing pandemic, we are seeking to help facilitate safe and fair elections by collecting nominations centrally and subsequently assisting with elections.

Following the close of nominations, any required elections shall be held on Friday May 29. Such elections will likely be held via email, so any member who has not yet forwarded a non-NSCC email address should send one to the NSCCAU Coordinator, Darla MacPhee, at nsccaucoordinator@gmail.com. Campus Representatives serve a vital role in supporting a better working environment for members and we are very appreciative of anyone who is able to put themselves forward for consideration during these challenging times.
