NSCCAU Annual General Meeting Update

Dear members,
The NSCCAU Annual General Meeting has been scheduled for Friday, June 12 at 1:00 pm. Due to the social distancing required by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Union has received permission from NSCC to hold the meeting through Teams, with assurances of privacy.
If you wish to attend the AGM, please RSVP by Monday, June 8th to our coordinator, Darla, at nsccaucoordinator@gmail.com using your College email address as this is the address that the Teams invite will be sent to. If you require a sign language interpreter for the meeting, please indicate this in your RSVP.
Teams Etiquette
Since there may be a large number of members at this meeting, please observe the following rules:
All members will keep their microphones muted.
If a member has a question, they must click the "raise hand" button on Teams. The chair will inform the speaker of the question. When the member's name is called, then they may unmute and ask the question. When the question has been asked and answered, click the "raise hand" button again to remove the hand from your name.
If a member wishes to move or second a motion, the “hand raise” button will be used in a similar fashion to rule 2.
The agenda for the meeting will be posted to the website. Annual reports will be sent out (to your non-nscc email address) closer to the meeting. I sincerely hope you will be able to attend.
